What's there in name?

Shakespeare once said "What's there in name?" But let me make you aware that was said in late 16th century. If you still in auld langsyne, then sorry you dont belong to modern world. In todays world we are getting in touch with people more with help of Internet, personal contact is slanderizing. Imagine if you are meeting a person after a long time and you greet him saying "Sorry i forgot your name" or you would find your ways of saying him/her "yaar etc.". Won't you feel embrassed? Now take the different scenario you meet a person after a long time and you are able to call him by his name. First thing that comes to his mind is "What a memory he remembers my name also...". So you boast positive impression, when its really difficult to get such a positive approach, how can one afford to let go such a golden chance.
I was reading How to win and influence friends - Dale Carnegie. In that it was mentioned that Andrew Carnegie always urged to remember each persons' name he knew. And amazingly he remembered also. Dale consider this quality of Andrew to be one of his success formula. Another book Leadership management from Monk who sold his ferrari - Robin Sharma also quoted the same thing. JM was giving an example to Peter that if you supposed to meet a stranger in party and after some time you will realize that you have forgotten his/her name. Does this happen to you also? May be you are not paying any attention to what he is speaking, infact you are just getting that persons gestures and trying to get feel from his apperance.
Long ago I had a chance to attend Memory increasing program. In that first lesson they taught me is of remembering the name. I would like to share those with you all. First time you meet any person then pay attention to what he is speaking and repeat his name in you mind twice or thrice (depends on your efficiency :D ) and after that try to co-relate person's name with something very unique something strange. Or even you can can link with the person you already know.
Hope from onwards you we all we remember the names of each other... By the way oops sorry I forgot your name? :D
